I think I’m dying.

I’ve been sick since Sunday and it’s awful. This is how the last three days went:

  • Sunday: Became super sick. I stayed in bed for pretty much the whole day and didn’t do anything.
  • Monday: Bravely, I went to school. Let me just say, it was NO BUENO. I was freezing the whole day because of my fever of whatever it was/is, I was coughing like there’s no tomorrow, my nose suddenly became a faucet, it felt like someone was stabbing my throat when I swallowed, and my voice was nonexistent. I went to P.E. and basketball practice and wanted to die, and when I got home, I had some herbal tea that was not so yummy and some chicken soup that I couldn’t even finish. I took a pill, climbed in bed with like a million blankets on me, and went to sleep. Maybe one of the worse days of my life.
  • Tuesday: Today I didn’t go to school and hallelujah I didn’t. When I woke up I felt okay and so I was contemplating going, but as the day progressed, I was still sick sick sick. I slept all day. Since the time that I went to bed the night before plus all the sleeping I did today, I slept about a total of 20 hours. I think I should just sleep for the rest of my life, gee whiz.
Aren’t those days just wonderful? They were really great.

Look what I found!

For part of my English mid-term, we have to write an essay on success. So, I was looking for a nice quote on the subject for my opening sentence to give it a little spice, and I came across this:

“I don’t know the key to success, but the key to failure is trying to please everybody.”

          -Bill Cosby

I thought this was pretty wonderful, because I don’t like to please people. I don’t find it appealing at all. But ya, just some food for the thought, I guess.

Been a while…

Hello there again guys. I haven’t been on this for a while, so please forgive me. I’ll update you on my life. Let’s see…

  • Exams starts today and go to Wednesday. Ew.
  • Got an awesome mile time yesterday – 7:18. Guess volleyball and basketball paid off 🙂
  • My daddy came home yesterday! It’s been so long.
  • I’m on the seventh Harry Potter. lol whut.
  • I love basketball. I discovered that I like it better than volleyball. Kind of a weird discovery right?
So ya…. I think that’s pretty much it.

Fabulous Four?

Kay guys guess what. Right now, my life has four fabulous things:

  1. I have one super great friend, Fiona. She has curly blonde hurr and plays soccer, basketball, and tennis. She’s pretty much a beast at whatever she tries though… Anyway, she’s super chill and has total swag. She’s actually kind of ‘gangstah,’ if you will. But she’s absolutely wonderful- she’s my homie.
  2. Basketball. It started last week and I finally got into it on Monday so I’m totally in the zone and pumped for every practice. Plus, I’m doing so much better than I thought I would. In fact, I’m doing pretty terrific.
  3. My papi is going to come home soon! It’s been surprisingly smooth while he’s been gone for the past month, but we need him here again.
  4. Christmas is in.. what’s today? The second? Christmas is in 23 days! Crazy! I just have to survive through mid-term exams and then winter break <3 You know what I’m going to be doing during that break? Basketball, reading, and chilling with Fiona. So psyched.

As you can see, I’m pretty excited for the month of December. Let’s hope it’s as wonderful as I plan it out to be.
